Create a Manual BDO

You can create a BDO that exists within WebBDS only. A manual BDO is processed in the same way as other BDOs, but is not recorded in WorldTracer, and therefore airline or ground handler are unaware of it. A manual BDO has the prefix M- before its reference number. For example: M-ATLXS20022.

A manual BDO remains in BDS for X days after its creation.

Create a BDO

Menu: DISPATCH > Create a BDO

1. Select the airline and airport, then click Create a BDO.

2. In the Bags screen, enter the details of each bag to include in the BDO, then click Next.

3. In the Passenger screen, enter the passenger's name and contact details, then click Next.

4. In the Delivery screen, enter the delivery details, such as the delivery address, and the requested pickup and delivery dates/times.

   The Visible to Airline Agent option allows this delivery to be tracked by an airline agent logged into WebBDS. A manual BDO is not visible in WorldTracer.

5. Click Create a BDO to finalize.
