Reset a User's Password

Note:

Password rules are as follows:

A password must be 8 to 12 characters with at least one capital letter, one number, and one special character.

After three unsuccessful login attempts the user account is automatically locked.

A password must be changed after 180 days – the system prompts the user to change their password.

Reset a Password

Menu: Settings > Users > Search Users

  1. Display the user using the Query panel.

    If multiple users are displayed, select the user to update.

  2. Click Update User from the action menu.

  3. Enter the new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.

    If necessary, change the Status to Active.

  4. Click Amend then Finish.

  5. Provide the new password to the user. There is no automatic notification by email.
